my story
The benefit of longevity in real estate is the first hand knowledge and experience of changing economic cycles on every phase of an investment strategy. Throughout my twenty-five plus years (and 500 transactions later!) of working with investors we learned how to buy “smart”, when to hold, and when to sell. We learned how and when to strategically use leverage, negotiate terms and recourse, and of course, how to identify a good opportunity and analyze the ROI.
My tenure in real estate started in 1993, co-investing with and managing for friends and family in multifamily housing investments. It soon became evident to me that education and experience go hand in hand. I acquired the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) and CPM (Certified Property Manager) designations to deepen my expertise in property management. This in turn helped establish the foundation for both acquisition and selling strategies and as well as grow my property management business. Soon thereafter I concentrated in strategically constructing and divesting investor portfolios as well as developing multifamily projects in the Phoenix area.
